I was wondering were you got the information about this "passenger" on the Starbeam ?
Hi Stuart: I got the information from trove.nla.gov.au as I mentioned at the start of the blog. The search engine for this site has been much improved since I first used it so you might be able to find what you’re interested in fairly easily. The arrival of “Starbeam” on 7 August 1863 was reported in South Australian Advertiser, South Australian Register, Adelaide Observer, and South Australian Weekly Chronicle on the following day and the passengers were given as: Messrs William, Emma, Samuel and Benjamin Henderson; Walter Uppington and Sydney Hayward. The only crew member mentioned was the master, Duncan Reid. Hope this helps – good hunting! Pea-Bee
